The 1958 Jaguar XK 150 SE FHC is a stunning example of classic British automotive engineering. With its sleek and elegant lines, powerful engine, and luxurious interior, the XK 150 SE FHC was the epitome of sports car design in its time, and it remains an object of desire for collectors and enthusiasts to this day.

The XK 150 SE FHC was the third and final iteration of the XK model range, which began with the XK 120 in 1948 and continued with the XK 140 in 1954. Like its predecessors, the XK 150 SE FHC was designed to be a high-performance, two-door sports car, but it boasted a number of improvements over earlier models that made it even more impressive.

One of the most notable changes in the XK 150 SE FHC was its new, stiffer chassis. This provided greater stability and handling, particularly at high speeds, making it a true driver's car. The XK 150 SE FHC also featured disc brakes all around, which were a significant upgrade over the drum brakes used in earlier models. These improvements made the car not only faster but safer, giving drivers greater control over their vehicle.

Under the hood, the XK 150 SE FHC was powered by a 3.4-liter inline-six engine that produced 210 horsepower. This was a significant increase over the 190 horsepower produced by the XK 140, and it gave the XK 150 SE FHC a top speed of over 200 kmh. This made it one of the fastest cars on the road in its time, and it was a popular choice among racing enthusiasts.

But the XK 150 SE FHC was more than just a performance car. Its interior was a luxurious affair, with leather seats, a wood-trimmed dashboard, and ample space for two passengers. The car also boasted a number of creature comforts, such as power windows and a heater, that were not commonly found in sports cars of its era.

Despite its many features, its high price tag made it an exclusive and rare car, limiting its appeal to only the wealthiest drivers. Many considered the XK150 a fast touring car rather than an out-and-out sports car, which is supported by the simple fact that the cars were seldom raced or rallied.

The XK 150 SE FHC remains an icon of British automotive design. Its sleek lines, powerful engine, and luxurious interior continue to captivate car enthusiasts and collectors around the world, making it a sought-after classic car. Whether as a racing machine or a luxurious touring car, the XK 150 SE FHC is a testament to the art and science of automotive engineering, and a shining example of the British sports car tradition.

This example is the more desirable SE version - Special Equipment with disc brakes on all wheels and higher engine power. The car is equipped with the optional automatic 3-speed transmission.

It was imported from Italy to the Czech Republic in 2016. Czech or Italian historic documents, it is also possible to register for a Czech regular license plate.

A complete highly professional nut and bolt renovation in the years 2012 to 2014 was carried out regardless of cost. The former owner and renovation investor is the world-famous architect and designer Paolo Piva, who owned the car since 1996 and who used it for long trips around Italy and subsequently had it renovated. The car is regularly driven at classic rallies (Italy 2018, Austria 2019).

The car is in perfect condition and after a service.
